The Village

Three children with light hair and wearing colorful clothes are standing by a window, looking outside at a large tree with bare branches during winter.

Our Program

In The Village, our infant/toddler loop, children spend their first years in a small, close-knit community where caregivers, families, and peers grow together. With consistent relationships from infancy through toddlerhood, children gain the security they need to explore, build friendships, and develop confidence. Just as important, we believe families deserve a strong support system, which is why we work in partnership with you every step of the way.

Our Curriculum

Our curriculum is guided by each child’s interests and fully play-based, inspired by the principles of Magda Gerber. We provide the support each child needs, whether helping an infant explore new textures and sounds or stepping back to let a toddler solve a problem independently.

From sensory exploration to pretend play, every experience is designed to nurture curiosity, creativity, and confidence. Children’s interests lead the day while building a safe, connected community. These experiences naturally prepare children to continue growing in Wildflowers, creating a seamless, child-centered journey.

A young boy with brown hair, wearing an orange shirt and blue striped pants, lying on a bright blue slide outdoors on green grass, smiling with eyes closed.
Baby lying on a soft surface holding a plush doll, with a bookshelf filled with children's books in the background.
A young girl with a pacifier in her mouth, wearing a black shirt with colorful hearts, is sitting on a floral-patterned couch. She is holding and looking at a small baby doll or stuffed toy on the couch, which is lying on its back. Behind them, there is a folded blanket with planets and the sun design, resting on the back of the couch.
Child in a red raincoat and camouflage hooded jacket walking on a wet gravel path with patches of grass.
Two young children are outside on grass, cleaning a large cardboard box with water. One girl, wearing an orange shirt and plaid shorts, uses a brush, while the other girl, in a red floral dress, pours water from a bottle into a yellow container.
A smiling baby girl with curly hair lying on her stomach on a colorful play mat, looking at the camera. She is wearing a white shirt with red trim and strawberries. The play area is indoors with various toys and furniture in the background.

Our Philosophy

Three young children wearing colorful raincoats and boots exploring a muddy puddle outdoors, with an adult woman standing nearby.

Consistent

Children spend their first years in a familiar environment with caregivers who know them well. This consistency means routines feel predictable, transitions are smoother, and children can explore with confidence, knowing the adults around them truly understand their needs.

A young girl wearing a pink jacket, black snow pants, pink boots, a pink and white striped hat, and gloves, is crouching down and holding a stick in the snow.

Child-Centered

Every day, children’s interests guide the experiences we offer. Caregivers observe, listen, and respond, turning curiosity into hands-on learning. From playful experiments to creative projects, children are empowered to take the lead in discovering the world around them.

Woman wearing a bear hat, glasses, and a teal shirt, kneeling on grass, talking to two young children. One child in a daisy-patterned dress and green hat with a smiling frog, and another child with curly hair and a towel over their head, in an outdoor setting with toys and supplies around.

Respectful

Respect shapes how we interact with every child. We encourage children to express themselves, make choices, and solve problems with guidance rather than rigidity. In this environment, children practice independence, kindness, and cooperation while feeling safe and valued.
